Here’s Jessica’s story...

She’s a third grade teacher who loves Star Wars memorabilia, her family and her puppy Toby…

Here’s the problem:  Jessica has been diagnosed with Leukemia, which has launched her headlong into a serious fight against the effects of the disease.  As of this writing, she’s involved in her second round of chemotherapy and fighting the sickness the treatments bring. 

To add insult to injury, the school where Jessica taught, did not renew her contract because of the work she is forced to miss.  This left her without a job; and no health insurance. 

Jessica is a wonderful soul who would rather dual Yoda himself than ask for help… 
So her friends are asking for her.

The medical costs associated with Jessica’s treatment have had a catastrophic effect on her and her family’s finances.  They are in need of immediate and ongoing financial assistance. 

Jessica’s unexpected battle with Leukemia, and the sudden loss of her job are a reminder of how blessed we are to be healthy, and how easily life can throw us a curve. 

The kindness of friends will help Jessica and her family endure, while she fights—and beats Leukemia.  Here are some of her words and thank you in advance for your support…

“My hobbies are reading and collecting Star Wars and Indiana Jones stuff. 
I recently received a “must have” for any true Star Wars fan:
a life-sized bust of Yoda! 
It creeps my mother out but I LOVE IT. 
When I’m able to go on a trip,
I head to the ‘Happiest Place on Earth’- Disneyland.”
